StandardX unveiled its accelerator-based isotope-refinery program and raised £10 million to engineer its first industrial system in London, with initial medical-isotope delivery targeted for 2027. A flexible production platform could ease shortages of isotopes used in cancer diagnosis and treatment, research and fusion without relying entirely on aging, single-purpose infrastructure.

ABB launched Infinitus, a source-to-rack direct-current power portfolio for high-density AI data centers, including solid-state transformers, distribution and protection technology. As AI racks draw dramatically more power, reducing conversion losses and the space occupied by electrical infrastructure can leave more capacity for computing while improving efficiency.
